On first seeing Len during his long sickness it hurt me deep in my soul it shook me up. Because of his sickness he could not recognize who I was and he could not speak to me. It hurts even more because we were twins, that made us close into the soul and share a lot of things especially when we were young. One thing good about been a twin is you always have someone to play with, play catch, to pass a puck. We both love sports very much. Especially hockey, baseball and basketball. We played these sports until our early 30s. the red deer River went by our house through the centre of Drumheller. There was a sun tanning beach and swimming area right by it. We took risk at swimming a mile in which we have to cross a Rapids to get to our bank home. so we had to dog paddle across the rapids to our river bank home. We were a good swimmers and We could do the different strokes for swimming. Outside in the community Len was a charitable person, worker and helped the needy. He had a positive spiritual background that helped him exercise charity within the community. this began with his love for his family and extended to his work. In younger days sea_cadets and Boy Scouts were part of this character training as well as Catholic youth programs. Len was always a partaker in dancing and music programs. This made him a positive influence to his family(wife and children). Everyone's life to it's very end has an enduring story. When Len and chuck were born it brought friends and neighbors to see the twins to house to offer their blessing and hugs. Born in the middle of the family gave special gifts that helped growth.
