It is with heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Leonard Vincent McLellan on January 8th, 2017.

Beloved husband of Leona Josephine McLellan, married for 54 years and father of Kelly McLellan, Joanne Kasz and Carol White.

Leonard was born in Drumheller Alberta on October 31, 1932 to John Daniel and Margaret McLellan. He passed into the loving arms of family on January 8th, 2017 at George Boyack nursing home at 9:00 am.

Leonard was predeceased by his mother Margaret and father John Daniel; his brothers Cyril (Rose), Frank (Joyce), Greg, and Tony (Maxine); his sisters, Isabel (John Shouwenburg), Teresa (Bob Trentham), Mary (Tom Fletcher), Patricia (Andrew Janisko), and Dorothy McLellan; and sister-in-law Mary McLellan. Leonard is survived by his wife Leona Josephine; his only son Kelly (Barb) McLellan; his daughters Joanne (Martin) Kasz and Carol (Gordon) White; twin brother Charles of Bragg Creek; brother John (Shirley) of Lethbridge; and his youngest sister Catherine (Rick) Thomson; as well as grandchildren Cassandra, Logan, Clayton, Austin, Samantha; and one great-grandson Xavier Marcus. He also is survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to pray for Len in their local parish and a Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.

The family sends an invitation to relatives and friends to share a tribute and attach any photos you like on the Choice Memorial website. It will be shared with everyone. Please share your memories.
