Teodora Tamayo
April 6, 1924 - February 25, 2017
Teodora Cortez Tamayo, a wife, mother, grandmother, sister, auntie, great grandma and a friend. A child of God who taught her family about the Lord. Courageous, strong, selfless. The best mother and grandmother you can ever ask for. A second mother to a lot of her relatives. Her wisdom and love held her 8 children together. She was the foundation of her family. Her Catholic faith is reflected in her good heart, her kind work and in her generosity. Her prayers lift her family up. We are blessed to be part of her life. She has touched so many lives through her work at church. She will forever be missed but not forgotten.
Relatives and friends are invited to a Viewing and Prayer Service at Choice Memorial (105-4715 13th Street NE) on Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at 7:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mark's Catholic Church (5552 Madigan Drive NE) on Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at 11:00 am.
