Condolence: Dear Ken, Tyson, Lori, Michael, Joshua, Nathan and Allison:

I was so very saddened to receive news about the sudden passing of Linda. She was truly instrumental in directing, collaborating and managing research primarily in the area of osteoarthritis. Her scope was extreme as she touched and influenced the lives of so many graduate students, medical students, research students, residents, fellows and even the surgeon consultants as well as other researchers locally, provincially, nationally and internationally. Linda always made things better. Everything she touched was better just because of her involvement. Her heart was grandiose and always so well intended to do things for the “right” reason and to ensure that whatever was done was completed for the greater good of a project, student/learner experience or the greater cause of whatever group with whom she was collaborating. She made me a better person and health care provider.

Linda always was aware of the three types of love in my life: The love for my family; the love for my spouse and; the love for my dear friends and colleagues. I feel so fortunate to have known and loved Linda as one of my friends and I will miss her dearly. She was “special” and will be remembered fondly.

Please accept our sincerest condolences for your tremendous loss.

Veronica and Henry

Condolence: Dear Ken, Tyson, Nathan, and families.

I was heartbroken to hear of the passing of Linda, and I'm truly sorry that I will be out of the country and unable to attend her services to offer you my condolences in person.

I considered Linda to be one of my treasured friends and receiving an email, Facebook message, phone call or an in person visit always made the day better. She was the best work buddy a person could have. I always enjoyed the times we got to work together closely, which just deepened our friendship.

She was so proud of her entire family and we had already made arrangements to attend the Bowness Stamped parade in July where she was going to bring her treasured grandsons!

I will miss her beautiful smile, wonderful laugh and sense of humour, and her friendship.

Love from Judy

I send my love and prayers to all of you during this tremendous loss.
