Condolence: Darlene was a true one of a kind. I worked with her way back in the late 80's as we established ATRA, put on our first conferences on and establihed the ATRAbute. She was the most commited person anyone could ask for and I think is very much the "soul" behind today's version of ATRA. She was a visionary leader, an incredibly hard worker and a heck of a lot of fun. I can totally hear her husky voice and boisterous laugh as I think about her. I can only imagine how much she will be missed by those who were still part of her day to day life. I thank Darlene for what she did for our profession and know that her legacy will carry on in all of the RT's in AB and Canada who love this work as much as Darlene did.

Condolence: I didn't have the pleasure of knowing Darlene as an acquaintance or a friend, but I did consider her the face of ATRA in many ways. She was a staple in my ATRA life and I was always greeted with a smile and an abundance of knowledge over the many years I've been a member. I really cannot imagine attending the next ATRA conference without seeing her. My heart goes out to her family and friends who will definitely experience a hole in their lives without her. I'm so sorry for your loss. ATRA has lost a dedicated volunteer, friend and champion of the ATRA field.

Condolence: Although it has been a few years since I had seen Darlene, I am so very saddened to hear of her passing. She was a tremendous support to me throughout my time on the ATRA board, as I know she was to everyone within the organization. Her no nonsense approach and great sense of humor will be missed.

Condolence: Dear Liz,

I just heard this afternoon of the passing of your Life Partner, Darlene. I
have been reading about such wonderful, kind qualities that she expressed in
her work, family, and with friends.

I see her bright smile looking at her picture.

Liz, you have the same wonderful qualities as you give to all of us, the
Seniors of Murdoch Manor, where you are love and appreciated for all you
give and bring to our program.

My heart goes out to you as you experience your great loss of the love of
your life.

Hugs and prayers are being sent to you, Liz.

Fran Craft, resident of Murdoch Manor
