The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Guy Giroux can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: To Guy's family please accept my sincere condolences on his passing. I was so delighted when I hired Guy in January 2000. He was then employed by Revenue Canada and I knew that I was getting an employee who was not only an accountant, and was bilingual but had years of experience in the pension industry.Guy was one of my best hires, he was respectful, even tempered and never had an unkind work to say about any person or situation. He was gentle kind and caring and could be relied upon. Guy kept in touch with me by telephone after he left work and never forgot my birthday or Christmas. I contacted each other every couple of months. After I could not reach him by phone and neither could any of his former coworkers, we hoped that he would surface and would be okay. Today is a sad day, I got the news I did not expect. May Guy rest in peace. I shall always remember his kindness and gentleness. My condolences to his family and friends, I shall miss him.

Condolence: Please accept my heartfelt sympathy on the passing of your father. I worked with Guy from 2001 to 2014 and consider myself fortunate to have known him. He was truly one of the nicest people I have ever met, with never a harsh or mean word to say. I once asked Guy if he did not hold people in mind when they were mean to him, and he said, with the sweetest smile, no and that you had exactly the same disposition. He spoke of you and his granddaughter with love and pride.
