Condolence: I can't recall ever seeing sweet-tempered John without a smile - it could literally light up a room. And then the laugh would follow...
Despite Mary's friends stealing her away on so many occasions, John was unceasingly patient and supportive, and in the truest sense, a 'gentleman'. And so he will remain in my memory, always.
