I played rugby with Bob over the years and and marveled at his patience and calmness on the field. He set a fine example on how to play the game and lived his life the same way
Sorry for your loss and my clumsy way of saying what a privilege to have known him

Condolence: Dear Susan and Heather, Rhonda(Wayne) and Jamie

I was so saddened to hear of Bob's recent passing. I will treasure the memories of our time together on staff at Paul Kane High.

I recall a boys' volleyball team (coached by Bob) and a bus trip to a provincial tournament in Calgary. Our boys won their division that week-end. Bob had asked me to be the team's manager and to accompany the team - I was thrilled. That experience in Calgary, and the bus trip there and back, have stuck in my mind through the years.

My wife Jean and I are thinking of you at this difficult time. We offer our deepest sympathies to you Susan, and to your extended family.

We wish you well.

Condolence: Dear Susan.
I am so sorry for your loss of Bob. I remember your wedding and I told Bob he was getting the greatest girl. He replied "I know" with his sweet smile. I remember how happy you both looked; that happiness continued to show throughout the years.

Thinking of you.
Marguerite

Condolence: Susan, I recall golfing with you at Riverside one Tuesday and you remarked that it wasn't your best game because you had built a deck over the weekend. You were tired. I remember thinking isn't that fantastic, this girl can build a deck! She's a strong one.
Strength and resilience are needed now on the death of a much loved husband, father, and grandfather. My sincere sympathy is with you, May all your memories keep Bob close to you and your whole family.
Take care of yourself Twyla Gibson

Condolence: Condolences Susan. I remember Bob helping so much with sports in our early years at Alberta College; I was working with the Students Union then and his sports activities where so valuable. I also remember his teaching at AC was of the highest caliber: remember I taught Math. You two retired in a wonderful spot. Your journey with Bob must have been wonderful!14
