Take It Easy !!!!!

Murray and I have been close friends for many years. The last 5 years we have talked almost every dayand most days 2 or 3 times. We both loved the "Eagles" and every once in a while in the evening my phone would ring. I would pick it up and one of the Eagles Songs would be playing very loud through the phone.  I would sit at my desk and listen to the song knowing what was coming. At the end of the song you would think he would be laughing, but not so. When the song ended there would be a click and he would hang up. I'd call him the next day and say how come you didn't chat after the song. His reply was "just thought you needed a pick me up and I knew you liked the song"and I was too busy doing paperwork to chat.

We would have our regular lunches at the Grey Eagle at least twice a month. We would talk about our life experiences, politics, cars, our industry, and of course his dogs (Or his Kids as he called them). He would never come over for dinner in the evening because he didn't want to leave his "Kids" for that long. So Christina would pack up a hot meal, with homemade Banana Bread (Which he loved), and I would run it down to him.  His reply was "You are too Busy to run this down here" but also replied "Wow please thank Christina for me". His Love for his Kids was unbelievable. His attention to Detail in his work was "Second To None". I will miss you my Dear Friend. As the Title above says and Glen Frey Sang, "Take It Easy". You Deserve It.
