The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Brian McKnight can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

The lighting of a Memorial Candle not only provides a gesture of sympathy and support to the immediate family during their time of need but also provides the gift of extending the Book of Memories for future generations.

Graham Thoburn

We would always share a beer at the airport on our birthdays. I would often buy his lottery tickets in Toronto for him when I was flying and he would wager a small bet for me in Vegas. All in good fun. He would always track me down on the field if I was working. Would try to get to fuel my plane so we could chat. If not he would find me and come up to the flight deck for a visit. He was always smiling, always welcome, and a highlight of a working day if I saw him. He will be sadly missed. Loved his family and cherished his grandkids. The pictures always came out on our visits. God speed my friend. You went too soon, I’ll make some arrangements up there. I have a few friends that might like a beer or a scotch and share some flying stories. Miss you buddy
