The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Brian McKnight can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

The lighting of a Memorial Candle not only provides a gesture of sympathy and support to the immediate family during their time of need but also provides the gift of extending the Book of Memories for future generations.

Brian not many people can say that they have fond memories of replacing a hot water tank in their home. I can still recall the words " let me do that for you" while we were chatting at PLH back in the nineties. What a fun adventure it turned out to be as we picked up the tank and changed out the old one. You were in your element helping me and I will never forget you for that. As a lead hand and ramp operations supervisor I could always assign you any number of flights and all would be fuelled correctly and the flight crews made to feel good at the same time. You would always bring back a story about who you met and I was happy to listen. Fuelling an aircraft for you meant more than "throwing" a hose at an aircraft! You saw it as an assignment that involved looking after the people as well as the aircraft. Reading the tributes from the Westjet pilots brought tears to my eyes as that is exactly how the job should be done. While a lot of us moved on you carried on doing a great job and you must be very proud. Thanks so much for all the good times when we worked together old pal and also for staying in touch with me. There were some challenging days at my new FBO job and I recall the sheer joy when I would get a call telling that there was a Brian Mc Knight at the reception desk. I am glad that I always made the time for you and saddened beyond belief that I couldn't make the time to meet you in Vegas as you had requested. Farewell Oh Great One you were a special person and the World is an empty place with out you.
