It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Fleurette Archer on Tuesday, March 20th, 2018 at the age of 92. Fleurette will be forever loved and remembered by her son Kenneth; daughter Caroline (Rick) Young; six grandchildren Dr. Deidre Young (Don Leffers), Grant Young, Bradley Archer, Chris Young (fiancée Maggie McKillop), Todd Archer (Rachel Noemi-Levesque) and Jamie (Dawn) Archer; five great-grandchildren Zachary Young, Ryan Young, Freddie Leffers, Vera Leffers and Kenny Archer; nieces and nephews Kevin Bartlett, Linda Virag, Robert Bowles, Nancy Theberge and their families. Fleurette was predeceased by her husband Bill Archer; son Jamie Archer; brother Horatio Emard; sisters Yvette Bartlett and Irene Emard.

Fleurette was born and raised in Montreal, and lived the last 21 years of her life in Calgary. Family was the most important thing in Fleurette’s life. She would receive daily phone calls from family members across the globe. She was an avid reader and enjoyed occasional trips to the casino. Fleurette was a strong woman who never complained. She was always there to look after her family, who will miss her dearly.

Fleurette will be laid to rest with her husband William and sister Irene at the Mont Royal Cemetery in Montreal.
