Marg

Marg and I had  a friendship that began in childhood and lasted a lifetime.  Along the way there was fun, laughter, tears, joy.

Stumbling on a nude beach with me hightailing it out of there and Marg laughing so hard she sank into the sand.

Years ago we’d meet at the gym, suffer for an hour then find comfort after with a full out breakfast complete with bacon. Crispy bacon.

My balking at walking over a suspension bridge. Marg saying yes you can and next thing you know I’m on  the other side. Marg was always on the other side pursuing her dreams and living them.  She made adventures happen and  lived life like nobody else I know. She was a woman who knew what she wanted and went after it every inch of the way.

There were many birthday cakes that started out with nickels tucked inside wrapped in wax paper and grew to those where I’d shave a year or two off but Marg was in her comfort zone with the age she was. Confident, positive, classy and she had a dazzling smile.

I’ve missed the summer visits with Marg and her sister Arlene. Exploring vineyards, wine tastings, sitting in the summer sun, conversations and much laughter.

We didn’t realize we were making memories.  We just knew we were having fun. - Pooh Bear

A beautiful lady and a wonderful friend.
