Obituary for Brian Dean "Rheese" McQuarrie

Brian Dean "Rheese" McQuarrie
Dean "Rheese" McQuarry
January 17th, 1969 - Saturday, July 15th, 2017

Dean / Rheese was born January 17, 1969 at the Holy Cross Hospital in Calgary, Alberta. Apparently his first nine months residence were more than enough of that for him and he hit the ground running after three hours of labour and really hasn’t quit running until July 15, 2017, when he passed away in his home at Strathmore, Alberta.

Although he was born and raised an Albertan, he lived and worked periodically in British Columbia , Ontario, and Quebec, and gathered friends and acquaintances wherever he went. If entrepreneurship describes a person, he epitomized that with his many ventures. He excelled within the Food and Beverage Industry at all levels, up to and including management positions. Later he was also trained as a Hair Stylist. His interests and abilities extended to auto mechanics, as well as many aspects of building renovations. We must not omit his known love, passion and expertise of cooking for his family and friends.

He expressed a novel aspect of his personality with his collections of watches, unique, antique and especially those of heirloom family watches, plus his boxes and boxes and boxes of many sizes, styles and novel configurations.

His keen sense of humor, unquenchable curiosity enabled him to readily converse with many people on many topics.

He leaves to morn his passing; his Mother Carol (Elgin) Tees, his Father Mac McQuarrie, his Brother Tony (Lisa) McQuarrie, his Uncle Ron Stroud, his Aunt Gynt Hodgson, and Cousins; Zachary(Cheryl) Jackson, Nathaniel (Maren) Jackson, Nolan (Ashley) Stroud, Mark (Natalia) Stroud, Amanda (Brian) Preeper, Robert (Erica) Hodgson, Bryan (Lisa) Hodgson, and his family’s, long time Family Friend and Confidant Richard Holland.

Friends and Family are invited to an informal Open House at 26 Parkwood Crescent, Strathmore, Alberta on Saturday, August 12, 2017 from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm to share coffee, tea, snacks and conversation.
