It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Verne Rea at the age of 87. Verne was predeceased by his first love and wife Barbara in 1987 and his sister Leone Hobbs of Deloraine.
Verne leaves to mourn his three children daughter Lori (Reece) Kosek, son Scott (Trisha) and daughter Melissa (Allan); his new love and companion Marilyn; as well as 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Verne's greatest passion was his family, closely followed by his harness horses. His quick wit and incredibly generous nature will be dearly missed by all that had the honor to know him.
At Verne's request no funeral service will be held. Interment will be held at a later date in Deloraine, MB.
