I met Doris as a young man in Kincaid, Saskatchewan. She heartily encouraged my interest in Hair Styling. I remember the poodles coming in and getting a wash in Fairmont Hot Springs, BC. In Kincaid Doris taught me how to do a roller set on some of our more stylish residents, she always encouraged me to pursue my passion in hair. I also have great memories of Radium Hot Springs with her and her brother Dwight and one of her uncles with the convertible (my first ride in a convertible). We had kept in touch over the years through the family and our usual Christmas Cards. Our last meeting was at my sister Carol's 50th wedding anniversary....boy did we have some fun! She will be deeply missed, my sincerest condolences to the Family. Larry Haviland
