My heart is heavy. The world has lost a true gem of a guy. I worked with Johnny at the Forzani Group for many years. Over this time we had many great adventures. Talking, arguing, laughing, debating and hanging out. I always remember our heated discussions. I would tell him he was arrogant and he would adamantly insist that he wasn’t arrogant, it was “confidence”. He always was passionate and had no problem voicing his opinion. I loved that about him. John had an infectious laugh and lit up the room when he walked into it. He would do anything for you, no strings attached. Even after I moved from Calgary I would remember Johnny and would have a big smile on my face. We kept in touch over the years and it was always just like old times. To all of Johnny’s family and friends - I hope you take comfort in the memories you have of him. I am sending prayers to all of you. Thank you for sharing Johnny with us. He will always be in our hearts ♥️
