When one departs this world they do so with the hope of having made a difference in the lives of other people. Ron made a positive difference in the lives of many others whether it was as a husband and father, career military officer, commissionaire, volunteer, or as a friend. Ron had a life well lived and will be missed.

Ron was the first person I met when I started volunteering at the Calgary Food Bank a few years ago. He was always happy, helpful and kind. I will miss his stories, his energy and his smiling face. I very much enjoyed working with him and know he will be missed by so many.
