Zlat Poliakov
September 27, 1941 - March 4, 2021
It is with great sadness that we mark the passing of Zlat Poliakov of Calgary, Alberta, on Thursday, March 4, 2021 at the age of 79. After a long and courageous battle with lung cancer, Zlat passed away peacefully with his family at his side. Zlat leaves behind his beloved wife, Olga; sons, Herman (Elizabeth) and Igor (Irina); grandchildren, Janna (Alexandre), Ilia (Jennifer) and Gennady and great-grandchildren, Eva, Daniel, Alexey, Ivy, and Nova.
Zlat was born Kishinev, Moldova in 1941, emigrated to Calgary in 1981. In lieu of flowers, if friends and family so desire, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
A Celebration of Zlat’s Life to be held at a later date.
