Obituary for Yetunde Oluwabunmi Bakare (Bakare)
BAKARE, Yetunde
Yetunde Oluwabunmi Bakare, age 37, passed away on Thursday, May 21, 2020 at her residence in Calgary, Alberta. She had her early childhood in Jebba, Niger State, Nigeria where she attended elementary school, NEPA staff school, the high schools she attended were FGC Ilorin and Queens School Ibadan, Nigeria. She went on to study Medicine and Surgery in School of Medicine, LAUTECH , Osun state and graduated in 2009.
She had her first job with Standard Life Care hospital, Lagos and then later went on to work for Lagos State General Hospital Ifako-Ijaiye, Lagos, Nigeria. She moved to Calgary, AB, Canada on the 5th of July 2019 and has since lived there till her demise.
She got married on November 20, 2010 to Segun and they both had two children, Oluwatooni, 8 and Oluwatoberu, 5.
Yetunde is known for her humility, courage and confidence never stopping to drop a radiant smile in her path.
Being the last of five children and the only girl, she is survived by her parents, Dcn Ajedokun and Dcns Ayanbola Adigun; four brothers, Sanya, Ayo, Niyi and Fola along with their wives and children, her husband, and children
