William “Brian” Glesby
September 6, 1954 – March 25, 2022
Brian Glesby was born September 6, 1954 in Winnipeg, Manitoba and left for his heavenly home on March 25, 2022 in Calgary, Alberta.
Brian leaves to mourn his beloved wife, Sherry Cox; mother, Frances and “Pops” Paul Pelletier; siblings, Edgar (Judy), Russell (Tina), Trudy, Wayne (Teresa), Patti (Frank) and Raymond (Karen); children. Janice (Paul), Meranda (Matteo), Colyn, and Kristy (Mike); grandchildren. Merissa, Teagen, Gary, Tyler, Drew, Sebastian; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and his Uncle Brian (who he never missed a chance to visit when he came home); his fur babies Roxy and Baxter who are lost without him. Brian was predeceased by his grandmothers, Rose and Helen; his grandson, Vance; and his fur baby, Roadie.
Brian was a West End boy; his school years were spent at Sargent Park and Tech Voc. And although he resided in Calgary, he never lost sight of his childhood friends. Always finding time to connect with Murray and Martin on his visits home, Dave and Heather in BC and Mark, who like Brian, made the move to Calgary.
Brian will also be missed by his Calgary family; Dan, Terry, Frank, Bruce, Jerry, Mladen and Rick. The boys got together every Thursday night at the man cave/club house rain or shine.
Brian lived a full life with no regrets. He worked hard, he road hard and most of all he loved hard. He will be remembered for his humor, strong work ethic and dedication to his family and friends.
His last ride will take place in Calgary this summer with his brothers leading the way. The date is to be determined. Brian lovingly took his Granny Helen for her last ride to Lockport, MB.
Godspeed on your last ride my baby. I wish I could go with you! Your mother loves you!
