Walter Moodie was born August 4, 1952 in Manaiwaki, PQ and passed away on July 23, 2019 in Calgary, AB.
Walter was adopted by Carmen W Moodie and C.V. Jean Moodie (Beardsley) of Ottawa in 1955.
Walter is survived by his Sister Kathy Moodie, Loving Partner Ethel Kushniruk, Son Darwin Kushniruk, Daughter in Law Nadine Kushniruk (Westberg), Granddaughters Taylor and Courtney, and Daughter Pamela (Moodie).
He was looking forward to becoming a Great Grandfather in March 2020.
Walter was pre-deceased by Dad (1994) and Mom (2010) Moodie.
He will be remembered for his love of family, travel, outdoor sports, and gardening.
Walter took pride in his Thirty Six years of service with the City of Calgary and his Eighteen years of service with the Amalgamated Transit Union and the ATU Members.
Walter prided himself in his ability to fix anything and to communicate with everyone.
