September 28, 1933 to January 23, 2021
Virginia Segura beloved wife of Alliri Segura (deceased), passed away at Calgary, Alberta on January 23, 2021 at the age of 87 years.
She was the loving mother of Margarita of Muscat, Oman (Yuri) and Rossana (deceased).
She will also be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Tanya (Andre), Valentina and Daniela and her great grandchildren Haven, Kamea, Julian, Ellijah, Amalia
And Ruby. Nieces Luisita and Ximena; Nephews Jorge, Reynaldo and Rodrigo and their families.
She was predeceased by her loving husband, Alliri, her beautiful daughter, Rossana and her beloved grandson, Santiago.
Virginia was born in Vina del Mar, Chile and at the age of 4 she met the man of her dreams, with whom she shared her life with until death did them part, and together they raised two daughters. They moved to Canada in 1988. She will be remembered for her capacity to touch everyone that met her with her big smile, her joy for life and her optimism. In spite of tremendous losses, she decided to live a positive life and give love and encouragement to everyone around her. She was an angel who went back home.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Virginia’s honour to the Canadian Cancer Society .
