Viktorija Tammam
Forever With Us

It is with sincere regret for us to tell you that Viktorija passed away on October 18th, 2020. Born in Subotica, Serbia (former Yugoslavia) in 1951, Viktorija was the youngest of four siblings. Her passion for the arts led her to be a schoolteacher, teaching junior high school students music and language for over 20 years. Once moving to Canada in 1992 with her family, she became a proud member of the St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church’s Women’s Union. Along with her older sister Gizella, she helped cook meals for hundreds of parishioners all year round. Viktorija became a childcare provider, and soon after an aesthetician. In her spare time Viktorija had a passion for gardening and writing. Aside from her sister and brother in—law, Gizella and Istvan Kistorma, Viktorija is survived by her husband, Zakaria, her two sons, Adel and Ahmed, along with her nieces and nephews Erzsebet, Gizella, Attila, and Joseph.

She will forever be in our hearts, and her smile forever on our minds.

Should you choose to bring flowers, feel free to send them to Unit #36 at the Foothills Hospital instead. We are thankful for their help in this difficult time.

Service for her passing will be held on Saturday, October 24th, 2020 at 1:00pm at the St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church (819 – 13th Ave, SW). COVID-19 regulations will be set in place. Please be sure to wear a mask and sanitize hands before entering.
