Edward Victor
1971 - 2020
Victor Edward passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 16, 2020 in Calgary, Alberta at the age of 48. He is survived by his loving wife, Rose Edward (Vescio) and sons, Utseoritselaju Matteo Edward and Ejiroghene Luca Edward. He was predeceased by his mother, Queen Aratutu Akpotor and father, Edward Omuanaphierho Akpotor. He had a large family, including eight siblings and many nephews, nieces and cousins.
Victor came to Canada in 2007 and met Rose in 2011. He was the proud Managing Director/Owner of Edwardvic Contracting Inc. and loved his neon, green semi-truck and being his own boss. He always had a smile on his face and possessed a larger than life presence. Victor believed in putting the needs of others before his own, always there to lend a helping hand to whomever may need it. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends and community.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Joy Overflow International Church Calgary (2013 – 39 Avenue NE, Calgary, AB) on Thursday, July 30, 2020 at 7:00 pm.
He will lie in state at Choice Memorial (105, 4715 – 13 Street NE, Calgary, AB) on Friday, July 31, 2020 at 10: 00 am. Internment will follow immediately after at Rocky View Garden of Peace Cemetery.
