Valerie Jean Hoogenboom (nee Boschman)
August 11, 1953 - June 04, 2020
It is with deepest sorrow that that the family of Jean Hoogenboom report her passing in Calgary, AB on Thursday, June 4, 2020.
She is survived by her husband, Leendert Hoogenboom of 47 years; her children, Stacey (Ernie), Denise (Cris) and Len; grandchildren, Johnathan, Faith, Chase, Carter and Linken. She will also be missed by her sisters and brother, Lori, Cathy and Bob as well as many nieces and nephews too. Valerie is predeceased by her parents, Nick and Mary; her sister, Janice and numerous aunts and uncles.
She will be missed by many friends and family. She will be remembered for her awesome cooking, and her love of entertaining. How she was there for who ever needed a shoulder to cry on some one to talk to.
She loved traveling with her husband and her puppies, Maggie and Scruffy. She was an awesome wife, mother, oma, sister, sister in law, aunt, and friend.
Due to the Covid situation, no formal service will be held.
