February 20th, 1954 - Tuesday, October 29th, 2019
Therese Marie-Anne Colborne (Watrin), beloved daughter, sister, mother, and grandmother, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 29th, 2019 at the age of 65.
She is survived by her brothers, Leon Watrin and Andy Watrin; her three sisters, Huguette Cormier, Marie Bleskan, and Beatrice (Don) Radcliffe; her sons Jeffrey Colborne and Brendan Colborne and their father, Charles Colborne; grandchildren, Lillian Colborne, Rayne Colborne, and Dante Colborne; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is predeceased by her Mother and Father, and her brothers, John Watrin and Gerard Watrin.
Therese was born in Big River, Saskatchewan on February 20th 1954. Therese grew up in Victoire, Saskatchewan and lived in Calgary, Alberta for over 40 years.
Always willing to keep learning, Therese was stalwart support for her children and grandchildren, doing all that she could to ensure their future. A proud supporter of the Cadet Movement, she spent over 20 years helping the program to provide a place for children to learn and grow to become leaders for tomorrow. She was also an avid sports fan, supporting her favourite teams the Stampeders, Rough Riders, Calgary Flames and Boston Bruins.
She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
A Memorial Service will be held at Choice Memorial (105-4715 13th Street NE) on Friday, November 22, 2019 at 3:00 pm.
