Tara Lynn Galloway
October 13, 1978 - May 2, 2021
Our daughter, sister, auntie, cousin, niece, and friend to so many passed away suddenly on May 2nd. Tara was born in Calgary on October 13, 1978. Tara lived in Calgary her whole life. She started working part time with Calgary CO-OP during her high school years. After her graduation from Lester B Pearson High School, she turned her part time job into a lifelong career as a Bakery Manager. She was much loved by her staff and co-workers. She was very much respected for her dedication to her work.
Tara brought joy and laughter and love to everyone who knew her. She had the kindest of hearts always mindful of others. Her love for animals was unlimited. She loved her kitties with all her heart and was lovingly known as the cat lady.
She has left us much too soon, leaving a great void that will never be filled. She has also left us richer for having been the recipients of her unconditional love and friendship. Tara especially loved her nephews Tyrell, and Keeran as well as her life sister Gloria's children David, Annabelle, and Ella.
Tara leaves behind her parents Audrey & Gerry Galloway, her sister Robin Galloway and her Partner Matt Kachersky, her nephews Tyrell Galloway, and Keeran Bowen, aunts, uncles, cousins whom she also loved dearly, and her life sisters Gloria, Angela, and Kim.
We will miss her so much but will find a way to honor her by not letting the grief forever outweigh the love and joy she brought us all. So we send her off with love and ever thankful for her time with us
