My deepest condolences to Sue's family. I met Sue when we worked together at Mt. Pleasant pool - summer 1978. Immediately it was known that she sure lived her life well. We would always meet at live music venues and festivals etc. It was always a fun and happy time when we would meet. She really was the "Life of the party". Her sense of humor was wonderful, her knowledge of music astounding. I remember one Saturday when she got on stage to jam at the King Eddy playing the drums. Every weekend you knew Sue would be out dancing and enjoying live music. Sue knew everyone and everyone knew Sue. I was so looking forward to seeing her soon once this pandemic lessened. I saw her a few months ago and we had great laughs, I am very saddened as many others are.

Firstly, my deepest condolences for your family's loss. Susan was a long time friend. Sue and I met at Crescent Heights High School.
We met under unusual circumstances. She was being bullied, I stuck up for her. Our friendship blossomed as we shared music and teenage dreams. Two rebels. Sue wanted to travel the world. Lila wanted to change the world. As life would often have it, we drifted apart. Twenty two years later through our mutual love for music we randomly reunited. Our journey continued. Sue celebrated my 50th. We frequented many music venues. I laughed at her jokes and antics. To say that we shared a special friendship, we sang many tunes together. Janis Joplin was our favorite. My final memory was recently when we danced arm over shoulders singing " Stand By Me". This song epitomized us. I will miss you terribly. I pray that you are in heaven singing and soaring with the angels. Goodbye for now. Love you man! "See you on the Other Side".

I met Sue at some event at my Aunts who lived a couple doors down from Susan's family. We lived in the same neighbourhood and became friends quickly, spent lots of our time hanging out at the Renfrew Pool.or listening to music at my parent's house. Sue was a bad influence (in a good way) on me and we had lots of fun, she had a good heart and an adventurous side that I admired. Life moved on as it does and we lost touch over the years but news of her passing was no less sad, however it did bring back good memories of the times we spent together. My condolences to the family, Susan will be missed.
