We are deeply saddened by the passing of Sines Kary who went home to be with her Lord on Sunday, December 29, 2019 at the age of 87. She shared a wonderful Christmas with her family. A few days later she passed away quietly in her sleep.
Sines was born April 11, 1932 and lived her whole life in Calgary. She married her beloved husband Walter Kary on July 13, 1957. She was mother to Darrell Kary (Diana), Colleen Cooper (Neil) and Brenda Bohnet (Ralph) and grandmother to Derek Cooper (Jessica), Ryan Cooper, Lora Neufeld (Ben), Grace Kary (Cedric), Ciara Kary, Mackenzie Kary, Kyle Bohnet, and Sarah Evans (Josh). She is survived by her husband Walter and sister Sylvia Weir and her many nieces and nephews, and was predeceased by 6 brothers and sisters.
Sines was active in her church, loved camping and travelling, but the most important thing in her life was caring for her family. She worked at home looking after her family and then later worked as an educational aid and child care provider.
Sines’ greatest legacy was her Christian faith which gave her strength throughout her life.
