June 30th, 1923 - Friday, August 14th, 2020
Shirley June Royle, 97, of Calgary, Alberta, formerly of Lachine, Quebec, passed away peacefully on August 14, 2020, at Carewest George Boyack in Calgary, Alberta.
Born June 30, 1923 in Quebec, she is predeceased by her parents Douglas Hallas and Adelaide Violet Hallas (nee Neale), her husband Stanley Claude Royle, her eldest son Douglas Frank Royle, as well as two siblings.
June (as she liked to be called) enjoyed fun. She had a love of tea roses and a glass of good red wine. Her favourite song was ...Until the Twelfth of Never...
Survivor's include her remaining two children, son Donald G. Royle of Vancouver, BC and daughter Wendy L. McLean of Airdrie, Alberta. June is also survived by her brother, four grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren.
Due to COVID pandemic restrictions, there will be no service or celebration of life. A cremation will be held at Choice Memorial Cremation & Funeral Services in Calgary, Alberta.
Any donations to honor June should be forwarded to Carewest George Boyack in Calgary, Alberta where she received excellent care.
