Shirley Anne Galley
May 13th, 1939 - Saturday, February 8th, 2020
Shirley left us this week after being so brave for her family. Although it feels far too soon to have to let her go we are so relieved she is no longer in pain, and we are filled with joy that she is finally re-united with her precious son Kenneth Michael and so many others that she loved deeply.
Family was Shirley's entire world, and yet she still had enough love to embrace anyone God sent her way. She will be remembered by the passionate way she loved and cared for us all. God has called home an angel that lived among us, an angel who left us so many memories of how to love and live with forgiveness for others.
Shirley leaves behind the love of her life of almost 60 years, Jim; her siblings Donald, Louise, Richard, and Mitchell; her 4 children Deborah (Nick, deceased), Carolyn (Vince), Gary, and Tina (Adrian). Shirley is also survived by eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, with one on the way she had yet to hold and love.
Shirley had a special place in her heart for a family in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico by assisting them to finally have a home. To continue helping this family and in lieu of sending flowers, Shirley requested that donations be made to Compassionet Impact Development Canada.
