I only ask one thing; no sad tears for me. Every wonderful, delightful, thrilling experience and emotion that life has to offer has been mine. Rather recall me with a fond smile as a son, grandson, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend who shared your laughter, tears and dreams through the years.

Save your sadness and sorrow for those who leave before they taste all the goodness of the world.

I have lived a good life. I’ve laughed and cried. I’ve been cradled in the arms of my mom, walked with the hand of my dad's in my own. And had the joy of playing with my nieces and nephews.

Think of the happy times. Most of all, remember we were together as a family and as friends.

As long as you remember me with a fond recall and share a thought or two of me. I will live in you. All who have loved and been loved have earned immortality.

No sad tears for me.

Dear Ryan,
I have been trying to figure out for weeks what to write here. I think we only met a couple of times. I remember thinking that you were very handsome--there's very good genes in your family. Even though I didn't know you well, my heart breaks that you are gone. I wish I could've known you better. You are loved deeply by your mom and dad, two very special people to me, and by so many others. I pray that one day you'll be reunited with all who love you. My thoughts and prayers continue to be with your family...and mine.

Remember your promise to me;
it is my only hope.
Your promise revives me;
it comforts me in all my troubles.
- Psalm 119:49-50

Ryan .... its been years since I've seen you but we grew up together, with Jen being my bestfriend. You were always so funny and welcoming and that's the memory i will keep of you. Rest peaceful Ryan. My thoughts are with you, Patsy and Don.

Ryan, I haven't seen you in many many years, but you are not a soul that could ever be forgotten. Your smile, laughter and energy always brightened the room. Your kindness made you many friends. And your adventurous side always kept things interesting. No one was bored when you were around. You have impacted many -- even those who only knew you for a short time. I hope you have found peace and that you are having an adventure in your afterlife!

My condolences to your family and friends!
