Robin Shane Hodges
January 1954-February 2021
With heavy hearts we announce the recent passing of our brother Robin. Robin had a long and difficult struggle with Secondary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis.
Robin was born in High River, Alberta and early on discovered that he had an affinity for horses. Robin was an excellent horseman whom won awards in Alberta and Arizona for leading trainer. He was always a high win percentage trainer that valued and respected the equine athlete.
To the dismay of those that knew Robin, he was stubbornly independent until his death. Those that knew and loved Robin prefer to remember him before he became ill and suffered significant cognitive changes. We will always treasure those memories!
Robin leaves behind to mourn, siblings April Eileen, Jay W, Lee Jefferson, Bonnie Erin, Dixie Lorena and his children, Shaynna Helfenstein, and Austin and Mia Novodvorsky.
Robin was predeceased by his father Johnnie Hodges and mother Connie O'Connell and his grandmother Kathrynn O'Connell.
"May the wind always be at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face, and rains fall soft upon your fields. Until we meet again , may GOD hold you in the hollow of his hand."
