WICHROWSKI, Richard Walter
Richard Walter Wichrowski was born in Brantford, Ontario on September 30, 1952 and passed away on Sunday, November 10, 2019 with his wife and partner of 19 years, Corrine Hackman, at his side.
Richard had a creative life as a songwriter and a lead singer in a Montreal rock band. He loved fishing on his boat in Prince Rupert, BC and enjoyed many happy hours in Mexico entertaining friends with his pool-side antics that included him singing his version of popular song lyrics.
Richard worked as a journeyman gasfitter and pipefitter and ran his own commercial plumbing business. Richard, also known as “Ranger Ricky”, “Ricardo”, “King Richard” or “runway model”, was a shoot-from-the-hip kind of guy with a huge loving heart, especially for his wife and their dogs.
Cremation was provided by Choice Memorial Cremation & Funeral Services. There will be no Memorial Service as Richard was a very private person in life.
