It is with deep sadness that the family of Peter Izzotti announce his passing after a long illness.
Peter passed away in Calgary, AB on Wednesday, March 11, 2020 at the age of 59.
He is survived by his loving wife, Diana and his dearly loved daughters, Ariane & Yolanda.
Peter was born in Hamilton, Ontario. He is the beloved brother of Joseph, Paul (Tanya), and Angela (Don Richardson) and Uncle to Anthony, Emily, Nicholas, & Sophia of Ontario. He was predeceased by his parents, Florence & Emile and his brother, Michael.
Peter moved to Calgary, and he became a talented and respected goldsmith in the Calgary area. His existing work is an ongoing testament to his skill and dedication to his art.
The family wish to thank Kirsten Ross of The Goldsmiths in Calgary for her encouragement and unwavering support. Many thanks are also extended to Jerry and Lori Fagan, and to the staff of 2 South at the Bethany Care Centre for their care of Peter during his long illness.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Peter’s memory to Inn From the Cold
He was a good man surrounded by a wealth of love on either side of his last breath, and he will be missed beyond measure.
The celebration of Peter's life will be held on Monday October 4th 2021 at 9am in the Rundle Room of the Delta South, 135 Southland Drive S.E., Calgary, AB, T2J 5X5.
