September 29th, 1942 - Thursday, December 15th, 2022

Pete McArthur Russell Hall was born on September 29, 1942, in Trinidad and Tobago, a twin island state located in the Southern Caribbean. He was the fourth child of Theodora and McDonald Hall. His elder siblings Stokeley, Sheila and Elsie are all deceased and he is survived only by his younger brother Lincoln. He was the father of two children; Quincy(deceased) and Crystal; grandfather of six - Cordae, Shaniece, Tae-Shaun, Nya, Marley and Kingston. He is also survived by his partner, Ms. Carol Noreiga; stepson, Tim Watkins; several nieces and nephews - among them Victorline, Vernon, Janice, Suzette, Antoinette and a great niece, Nicoline. His niece, Collette is also deceased.

Pete got his early education in Trinidad and Tobago and because of his interest in becoming an educator, with the intention of molding young minds, he attended Teachers Training College after graduating high school. Subsequently he decided to further his education and migrated to Canada to achieve this goal. Along his career path as an educator, he taught at a school in one of the Reservations in Canada for a number of years. However, still not satisfied with his achievements, he decided to pursue a postgraduate degree in Education at the University of Alberta where he obtained a Doctorate. Afterwards he became a member of the Adjunct Faculty until his retirement.

Pete had the type of jovial personality that made him approachable and affable. This also made him an excellent teacher. During a lifelong career in the field of education, he exerted a positive influence on countless lives and consequently, his contribution to the development of their minds and characters, was substantial.

He would be missed by all whose lives he touched. May he rest in peace.
