Norbert Behl
September 5th, 1951 - July 1st, 2020
Norbert Behl, beloved husband of Sheila Behl of Calgary, passed away at the Southwood Care Centre on Wednesday, July 1st, 2020 at the age of 68.
Norbert was the loving father of Sasha (Matt), Shaun (Lyra) and Teigan (Jeff). He will also be lovingly remembered by 7 grandchildren Shyla, Kiana, Jasmine, Elias, Madison, Evan and Riley; 3 brothers Dieter, Rainer and Thomas; as well as many nieces and nephews. Norbert was predeceased by his mother and father Wolfgang and Elfriede.
Norbert was born in Berlin, Germany and moved to Canada with his family when he was 16 years old. He lived in Montreal for a few years before moving to Calgary where he made his life and raised his family.
A private gathering will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Norbert may be made to the Canadian Mental Health Association (www.cmha.calgary.ab.ca).
