It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Nancy Elizabeth Friesen on Thursday, December 24, 2020. She was a loyal and devoted mother, grandmother, sister and friend to all whose lives she touched. Born at Calgary General Hospital on September 5, 1943.
She was a loving mother to Ron (Denise) of Williams Lake BC, Melody (Tim) of Calgary, AB, Deborah of Stony Plain, AB and Wesley (Stacey) of Burnaby, BC.
She was a loving grandmother to Kaylee and Ethan of Burnaby, BC, and predeceased by her grandson Cody John Gorlick.
Nancy is survived by five brothers George (Ruthie) of Parson, BC, Ed of Calgary, AB, Willy (Jan) of Calgary, AB, Tim of Calgary, AB and Jim (Barb) of Enderby, BC. Predeceased by brothers Bob and Jack. She had numerous nieces and nephews and grand nieces & nephews.
Nancy will be remembered for her passion for anything “pink” and her love of crafting. She touched so many with her beautiful crafts that we will all cherish. She will be missed by so many as she was such a caring and loving person to all who knew her. She was known in her final years as the “warrior” as she had so much courage and strength as she battled cancer.
