MORTON, Naida Lynn (nee Crapo)
May 1, 1951 – November 10, 2019
Naida Lynn Morton passed away peacefully in Strathmore, Alberta at the age of 68 following a long battle with cancer. Naida grew up in Calgary and Lethbridge and retired in Strathmore in 2017.
Naida is survived by her loving husband of 28 years, Neil; son, Mike (Charmaine) Morton; daughter, Kim Morton; grandson, David Morton (Leah King); brother, Doug Crapo (Judy Hunt); sisters, LaRee (Gus) Bruehler and Louise (Wayne) Elliott; numerous nieces and nephews and extended family. Naida was predeceased by her parents, Venla and Austin Crapo.
The family would like to thank Dr. Young and the wonderful staff at the Strathmore Hospital for all the care and compassion they provided over the past few months. Additional thanks to Dr. Gelfand and Dr. Ghatage and the kind staff at the Foothills Hospital and the Tom Baker Cancer Centre.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made directly to the Calgary Humane Society, the Canadian Cancer Society, or the Wheatland Hospice Society in Naida’s memory.
