Michael David Robichaud
January 2, 1954 – April 6, 2022
Mike Robichaud passed away at home on Wednesday, April 6, 2022 at the age of 68.
Mike was born and raised in Saint John, New Brunswick. He graduated from Saint John Vocation School in 1973. Mike met and married Florence Fillmore in 1975 and their oldest child, John was born in Saint John. In 1980, they travelled to Alberta where they expanded their family to include Melissa and finally, Christopher.
Mike spent may years working in the plumbing and heating supply field. He was heavily involved in Cubs and Scouts while his sons were in these programs. He had a love of fishing, which he passed on to his sons and a love of camping, which all his children love. There were many nights spent around the fire.
He was a proud dad and papa and loved watching his grandchildren grow up. He will be missed by family and friends.
Mike will be missed and lovingly remembered by his children, John (Tracy) of Okotoks, AB, Melissa (Erick) of Calgary, AB, and Christopher of Calgary, AB; the mother of his children, Florence; his grandchildren, Dalton (Sarah), Hunter Jade, Hailey, Chase and many more children that considered him Papa Mike; brothers, David and Joe; and his sister, Ann. He was predeceased by his parents, Leonard and Mary; brothers, Jim, Tony and Bob; and sister, Mary Lou.
A Celebration of Mike’s Life will be held at a later date.
