LEE-ALEXANDER, Mary Alice
June 27, 1951 – Tillsonburg, Ontario
June 23, 2019 – Calgary, Alberta
It is with sad joy that we announce the passing of Mary on Sunday, June 23, 2019 at the age of 67 years. She has gone to be with her Saviour, Jesus Christ.
Mary came to Calgary from Kelowna in 2011. For many years, she worked as a dental assistant and took great pride in caring for her patients. In her leisure time, Mary loved to dance. especially to disco music.
Mary fought a three-year valiant battle against ALS, and she was a brave little soldier right up to the end.
We would like to thank all of Mary’s caregivers at the Seton AgeCare Facility.
Mary will be remembered and forever missed by her loving partner Garry; daughter Tracey (Kevin); son Chris (Debbie); sister Peggy and Peggy’s daughter A.J. and son Jason (Sarah); brother Jim; grandchildren Avery, India, Reace and Brayden; several nieces and nephews; and her best friend Judy.
No formal service will be held prior to her cremation. Mary’s family will gather in Kelowna at a later date to inter Mary with her mom and dad at the Lakeview Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Kelowna, BC and to celebrate her life.
