Marilyn May Prentice, Nee Fraser
Marilyn was born on May 12, 1943 in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba to Vera and Joshua Fraser. The family later settled in Fruitvale, BC.
After highschool Marilyn headed to Calgary, Alberta eventually landing a job with Prudential Insurance.
She later married Ken Prentice in 1996. They travelled throughout Alberta while Ken worked as a crane operator. They finally settled in Airdrie, Alberta.
Marilyn loved her dogs like they were her children. They enjoyed camping together for many years throughout Alberta and BC.
Ken preceded her in December 2017.
Marilyn lived for the last few years in Cedarwood Station in Airdrie where she very much enjoyed all of the activities there. Dancing was among her favourites. She made many good friends at Cedarwood, especially Tom.
Marilyn will be remembered for her sense of humour and true kindness. She will be missed by many.
