Obituary

Lynne Keeler (Engleson)

Lynne Keeler, age 70, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 27th, 2019 at the Dulcina Hospice in Calgary.

She was born on July 24, 1949 in Sarnia, Ontario and moved to Calgary in 1979 and resided in Chestermere for the past 17 years.

Before she retired to take care of her grandchildren, she worked at Calgary Co-op for 25 years, where she was well known and admired.

Lynne will be lovingly remembered by her husband and best friend of 30 years, Shayne Keeler. She was devoted to her son Randy (Lorna) and daughter Leighann Engleson and a loving grandmother to Avery & Jessica Engleson. She was predeceased by her parents Ross & Evelyn Baker.

She is also survived by her 2 brothers Tom (Cathy) & Jerry (Lynn) Baker and brother-in-law, Howard (Laurie-Ann) Keeler, sister-in-law Shelly Keeler and brother-in-law Ray (Doreen) Poirier. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews and beloved friends and family who will sadly miss her.

Lynne enjoyed life. She loved camping and golfing with her friends and family, and made life long memories that will be cherished by all. We will all miss Lynne’s wonderful laugh, beautiful smile, her generosity and loving nature to everyone that entered her life.

Our most sincere thanks to the wonderful people at the Dulcina Hospice and Alberta Health Services.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Lynne’s memory to Alberta Cancer Foundation

Condolences to Shayne and family Lynne will be missed by all.
We were blessed to have met Lynne out west many years ago. Always had so much fun when we got together. The best was when we moved to Sarnia and got to visit with Lynne, Shane and other dear friends and family. We went out on a sunset 3 hour tour on Lake Huron. Shared so many stories that evening. It will be a night I will treasure forever 💞 Thank you Lynne for all the beautiful memories , you will be missed dearly Sarnia Gal💞

I was shocked to hear of Lynne's passing. Sending love to her family.
Lynne and I met through our love of yoga when we both lived in Sarnia. She was a special lady and has left a huge void in the lives of those who knew and loved her.
