Margaret Ellen Cole passed away in Calgary, AB on Monday, February 6, 2023 at the age of 85 years.
Margaret will be missed and lovingly remembered by her children, Dave (Holly) Cole, John (Nora) Cole, Lorna Harlow and Ken Cole; eight grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and brother, Gary Cole. She is predeceased by her parents, Beatrice and Kenneth Knechtel; brothers, Arthur and Warren Knechtel; and son, Gary Cole.
Margaret was born in Nipawin, SK in 1937. She was the proud mother of five children, she put herself through college and had a successful career with Gulf Canada. Margaret was a devoted parent and grandmother who attended every holiday, birthday, race, soccer game, and always made time to play the piano with her granddaughter and later great granddaughter.
She invested many hours volunteering and supporting the UCT charity. When she retired, she joined a bowling league and made life long friends that she enjoyed going on vacations with. She made and kept many deep connections that she held dear until the end. She will be dearly missed by all.
