1938 – 2021
Manfred Bruno Erich Schroeder passed away on Saturday, May 22, 2021 at the Foothills Hospital in Calgary at the age of 82.
Manfred was born in Stettin, Germany to Bruno and Gerda Schroder. He was a professional painter/plasterer and he met the love of his life Joan, while painting at the American Airforce Base in Germany and later were married in Ramstein. Joan beling a Canadian citizen, they chose to move to Canada in 1972. Manfred had a passion for R/C airplanes, winning multiple trophies for his builds. This was his everything! Manfred will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Joan; daughters, Angela Cornwall and Karina (Chris) Gayle; grandchildren, Ashley Schroeder, Chet Cornwall, Natasha Gayle and Brittany Cornwall.
