Obituary for Madeline Louise Adamson

Adamson, Madeline Louise
1924 - 2020

“We never know the worth of water till the well runs dry.” - Thomas Fuller.

Madeline Adamson was water in the well for the Adamson family. She was always there with an encouraging word, a bright smile, a listening ear. She took great pride in her life experiences, attending university during the 1940s, becoming a teacher, a mother, travelling with her husband and family and watching her grandchildren grow. She was an avid knitter and reader who enjoyed a good mystery be it presented by Jessica Fletcher, William Murdoch or Hercule Poirot. She took great joy in children and her great grandchildren were a special delight. While she will be missed by those she leaves behind (daughter Lynn, son Kevin, granddaughters Salina and Cayley (Steven), grandson Dustin and great grandchildren Lane, Morgan, Jasper, Madeline and Rowan) we know that she is being welcomed by her family that has gone before her (husband Jim and son Ken). For those of us left behind, we will keep your coffee cup warm and full with memories, joy and love.

We will miss you Mom, Grandma, GG.

In lieu of flowers, donations made in Madeline’s memory to World Vision would be appreciated.
