Louis Manuel Silveira
November 23, 1960 - February 19, 2023
Louis passed away on Sunday, February 19, 2023, at the age of 62 years.
Louis will be lovingly remembered by his sister, Lina McKenzie (Dale) of Calgary, AB; brother, George Silveira of Calgary, AB; as well as nephews and nieces and extended family. He was predeceased by his mother, Maria Silveira in 1988 and his father, Manuel Silveira in 2007.
Louis was born in Pico, Azores and came to Canada in 1966. He was a Paralympic coach for Goal Ball. He travelled all over the world, which was his greatest accomplishment.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Louis’ memory to Calgary Drop-In Centre.
A Celebration of Louis’ Life will be held at a later date. Louis will be laid to rest with his parents.
