Obituary for Lori Lynn Martinson

Lori Lynn Martinson
December 17, 1965 - December 24, 2023

Lori was born in Moosejaw, SK on December 17 1965, the first out of two children to Clifford Giem and Barbara Reid. Lori loved growing up surrounded by friends and family. Lori met Wayne and together they have four children. Lori was passionate about her children and spending as much time with them as she could. She was over the moon when she became a Grandmother in 2009 to her first granddaughter, Vakila and even more excited when she had two more grandchildren, Brie and Kegan.

Lori was the type of person that everything had to be great for her grandchildren. She adored them and cherished them every day, being a grandma was the best!! Lori spent all holidays decorating and spending quality time with her family. She had to make sure that for Halloween and Christmas, her house was a must-see attraction. She loved the holidays and being with her family and friends to celebrate.

Lori passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 24 2023, at the age of 58, with family and friends along her bedside. Her short, painful battle with Cancer had reached its end and Lori was called home to be a pain free angel.

Lori is survived by her husband, Wayne; four children, Tiffany (Scott), Kelly, Ashley (Miles) and Reggie; five grandchildren, Vakila, Brie, Kegan, Lincoln, and Langdon; mother, Barbara Reid; sister, Kim Blixt (Jeff); also, her bearded dragon, Mario. She was predeceased by her father, Clifford Giem; father-in-law, Woodrow Martinson; mother -in-law, Haldis Martinson; grandmother, Mavis Reid; grandson, Jaiden; and uncles and aunts.
