Loren Boyle

Loren Eric Boyle passed away on December 20, 2022 in Chestermere, Alberta at the age of 68.
He is fondly remembered for his kind heart and quick wit by his surviving brothers, Keith Robert Boyle of Kelowna, BC and Murray Trent Boyle of Saint-Lambert, Quebec and sister, Colleen Margaret Boyle of Victoria, BC. He was predeceased by loving parents, William Eric Boyle and Aileen Iris Boyle (nee Bibby).
Born in Edmonton on April 11 1954, Loren grew up in Calgary where he developed keen interests in guitar and bowling. He was especially passionate about flying and aircraft, receiving his private pilot’s license in 1978. Graduating in aerospace engineering from University of Michigan in 1985, Loren spent 25 years working in the aeronautical industry in Alberta and BC before retiring to Chestermere in 2014. Loren was a member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia, and a charter member of the Calgary Winter Club.
Interment is at Eden Brook Memorial Gardens in Calgary.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
